Uniting the world.

Lets create a knowledge revolution.

One way to unite the world is by creating a global school where children receive basic education and create understanding among each other through dialogue and solving problems together.

How else are we going to reach a higher level of understanding and respect among different cultures?

People keep killing their neighbours on this little planet; it has been done for thousands of years. Are we never going to learn? What is exactly the evil nature of mankind? Maybe we should stop calling ourselves mankind, and change it into wo-mankind. Maybe, by using more of the motherly sense that does exist in most people, maybe would we as a people start to make new decisions? Decisions for a lasting planet that one day should be able to be compared to what they in most religions refer to as Paradise.

People keep minding their own business and creating their own success as for thousands of years. Just look at the stupidity of materialism. I am not a communist, nor am I a materialist. Even though I had the luxury of growing up in a rich country, being able to create what some people call prosperity. But true happiness can only come when everyone care for each other.

Even in Stockholm, Sweden, there are thousands of people with no home. Living in the streets during winter in Stockholm where it sometimes reaches 10 degrees minus on the Celsius scale, causes death.

Still it is nothing in comparison to all the suffering children living in war, prostitution, slavery, begging or working hard. All those children having no time to play, no time to receive love, no time to be happy. Just struggling to survive to the next day.

What is it that makes so many of the world leaders and business leaders of this world to prioritize only to reach a higher level on the quarterly stock market exchange report? What is it that drives the worlds 2% of those with most income only to make them selves richer? Naturally there are many successful leaders that do contribute to global development with strength and power. But still, becoming richer and richer every day. Does it make them happier? Do they even understand what that kind of money could do in order to create a better world? Do they understand how happy and proud they could feel and what appreciation they would get, if investing half in lets say – a developing country.

I believe in creating a knowledge revolution.
A knowledge revolution where understanding for all ongoing processes on this planet is reached by a large part of the poor 4 billion people of this planet. It is not far away in time. China and India alone hold 1/3 of the world’s total population. Will these countries be able to offer education to all within lets say a 20 year period? Looking over a historical perspective, that would be very very fast. But then again, who of us using this web can even imagine a day of work without access to a computer and internet.

We should look at the internet as a never ending river of information. Let’s clean the water of that river, by prioritizing content focused in education and sustainable development. And let’s direct that river towards the 4 billion poor. A positive future will then take care of it self.

Make that global school available by delivery of used computers to all third world countries, install them in schools.

Make a global fixed rate for free access to the internet when in educational purposes - totally free. We, the people of this planet will benefit from it in the long term. Make the large companies, and traditional consumers pay the extra low cost that arise from giving free internet access to schools in developing countries. Make it a rule, that every used computer must be refurbished, connect a punsihment fee to those computers that are not refurbished – for cost on the environmental impact. Make that punishment fee higher than the 50 USD it cost to refurbish, ship and install a computer in a developing country.

1. Share basic education in the following subjects;

• Tools for fighting: poverty, hunger, spreading of diseases, discrimination of women and global education of children
• Problem solving information bank
• Human Rights
• United Nations Convention of the Child
• Language training
• Ethics, moral, self esteem
• Health and sexual health
• Environment, water provisioning and agriculture, to increase living standards and improve basic conditions for life
• Global project management
• History, legends and culture
• Sustainable Entrepreneurship
• Positive leadership that unites people in a global sustainable development process.

2. Make children talk to each other, globally, at an early stage.

• Discuss global development
• Global leadership issues
• Sustainable development.
• Democracy training
• Respect, understanding and gender equality
• Knowledge exchange
• Cultural understanding and cultural exchange
• Exchange programs and global projects.

3. Make all global companies understand what will drive them to a safe future.

• A healthy world will ensure a healthy growing market
• An unhealthy development will lead to more disasters, wars and low development – hence creating a negative market trend unless you are in the business of creating weapons.
• (There are some countries (think for your self which) that believe war is good for business. Taking over markets, building up countries by payments in oil… Well there do exist a very large part of the world to build up anyway. There is no need to destroy it first.)
• Invite all global companies to be part of uniting the world.
• Stop purchasing products and services from companies that do not really contribute in the global development process.

Following these simple advices would probably make a huge global impact after 15-20 years, after which it would become a natural part of any individual’s life to respect and care for every individual on this planet. Within 50 years we could reach what some refer to as Paradise, as a people.
