The 11:th
of march there was a seminar about Corporate Social Responsibility and how to make the saga "Titicaco King of the Sea" come true. Approximately 100 dedicated individuals showed up!

At this point we would like to give a special thanks to Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel, who sponsored the whole event and brought a delicious buffé to us all.

  • Anders Wijkman. EU Parliament
    Gave speech on how companies must work together in important global issues such as education, global warming and business.

  • Claes Cronstedt. Amnesty International Business Group
    Gave speech on why large companies do CSR and what skills it recuires. He actually never speak about CSR with his clients, but of Risk Management.

    Comments from the survey; concrete, he knows what he talks about, very professional, very genuine, interesting, very clear on explaining why companies do CSR, interesting perspective.
     
  • Dag Nielsen. Ericsson Response
    Gave speech on Ericsson Response work with UN and Red Cross in global catastrophe operations doing immediate installations of mobile GSM stations in areas where rescue operations need to be coordinated.

    Comments from the survey; they are doing it, pedagogical, impressive program. It changed my view on Ericsson. “If they join Mission Titicaco, I will throw my Nokia mobile and buy an Ericsson”. Strict, Engaging, Makes people proud. “Great commitment to Mission Titicaco”.

    Gave speech on why it is good for comapnies to do CSR and hoe they may use it in branding purposes and for employee satisfaction.

    Gave speech about the deep desire to contribute to global development by creating a global school, what has been done, what will be done and our vision.

  • Ingo Wikman & Tua Gandré. Titicaco Cycling Tour
    Gave speech on their incredible journey cycling from Patagonia to Stockholm. Tua who just arrived from the cycling tour was pregnant in the 8:th month and have now given birth to Liv. They talked about their adventures and meetings with students and teachers in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Germany and Sweden.

  • Jill Nilsson. Lidingö Stad
    Gave speech on how it is to build schools in the Egyptian desert, and how dream may develop to reality only by believing and convincing others.

  • Johan Holmberg. ICT4Africa
    Gave speech on how Corporate Social Responsibility is an important process that can add in many ways to the improvement of any company.

    Gave speech on what actions Radisson SAS Hotels are taking within the area Corporate Social Responsibility.

    Gave speech on several aspects that are important to think of when involving yourself in a global development and Corporate Social Responsibilities.

    Gave speech on how SOS Barnbyar are run in Bolivia and that SOS are seeking partnerships with companies that want to build children villages.

    Gave speech on how the project IT Generationen visited schools in Sweden during the time when internet was still news. And on how they introduced children by the so called see-hear and touch program.

    Stina was moderating the whole event and almost needless to say she is extremly professional and asked interesting questions as well as giving comments to all speakers.

    Gave speech on the global computer training program IBM is running for young children up to seven years old.
