Furthermore we have developed a unique model for creating educational content. We are positive our model will be highly succesful for sustainable development and global use through Titicaco Communicaring School.
The succesmodel of creating impact oriented educational content of Titicaco Communicaring School is to involve teachers and students in the process. Furthermore we shall work with high quality content providers such as large companies, globally active NGO´s and univiersities. In order to create a succesful e-learning community we will use online communicative methods that students prefer. We are not at this point giving out more details about our winning concept.
If you want to understand our choice of method it is good to first read this review giving a historical perspective on untraditional teaching methods. Cuban, L. (1986). Teachers and machines: The classroom uses of technology since 1920. New York: Teachers College Press.
United Nations Convention of the Child
Titicaco Communicaring School is a e-school, e-community and e-democracy platform who support the United Nations Convention of the Child&n and makes it simple for students in participating schools to live up to and exercise the rights of article 12,13,14,15,17,28,29 and 30 by our special educational internet community.
E-learning
In Titicaco Communicaring School, children will receive, participate in and shape impact oriented education programs complementing the traditional education programs in schools. We especially want to encourage characteristics such as entrepreneurship, problem-solving and active leadership.
The educational platform and pedagogical structure has been inspired by Kunskapsskolan where every course is built on the following steps: 1. Introduction, a teaser with the purpose to make the student interested in the subject and eager to get the knowledge 2. Presentation of goals, to make clear to the student of the goals of the education 3. Presentation of task, mostly practically oriented tasks who are to be reported to the teacher through Titicaco Communicaring School. 4. Begin class 5. Diploma 6. Evaluation, both from teachers and students.
Titicaco Communicaring School will have a reliable pedagogic model with clear educational goals for every student. The pedagogic model has been specially developed for effective learning via the Internet. In Titicaco Communicaring School all students will get an introduction to every course, in that way every student will increase his/her interest and enthusiasm for the subject. All courses are finalized with a test and practically performed exercises. The student will also get a diploma as a final reward for the studies he/she has carried out.
Simple to add courses and educational material and translate educating content An important part in the creation of Titicaco Communicaring School is that the educator and the associated company or global NGO will be able to create and add new educational areas very easily, courses are created by means of a special template that later on have to be approved by the head department within Titicaco Communicaring School before it can be used by the students.
The global system is user friendly and simple to use it provides templates for all editing or updating activities, for instance when a course needs to be translated, she/he clicks then on the course that is available in a window and he/she fills in the compiled course and saves it.
Content adaptation strategy:
- Translate
- Localize
- Modularize
- Originate
E-community The aim of dialogue is to create educational courses and set them in practice. Education within Titicaco Communicaring School will imply very much cooperation among students in order to implement a project. These projects will result from dialogue amongst students in various schools. Duties will be given from Titicaco Communicaring School to students from various cultural levels to be solved.

E-democracy From dialog raises questions that usually engage many people. In many cases where a question engages more than one hundred individuals the question might be raised to a democracy question. In this case there will be created a “democracy page” in Titicaco Communicaring School in which invites to participation to a major number of individuals and people who has a genuine interest for this kind of debate. This happens by the system sending an e-mail to the people who has given in his/her profile that they are interested in that area, in this case democracy issues. After a thorough discussion about the matter and presentation of the facts within this area there will be the possibility to vote about how to proceed with this, for instance, it could result in a project. In that way youngster will be able to make changes both locally as globally.
