Empowered by grandmother My dear grandmother wrote a poem to me in 1974 that inspired me many times. Feel free to read it.
Titicaco-King of the Sea is the saga where dreams can be made reality. It is a saga where logics are explained in a new way, with love. It is a saga where everything that can happen, happens.
Summary of content and purpose; We have written a saga about Titicaco who grows up in an orphanage, an SOS children’s village, near lake Titicaca in Bolivia.
He becomes a hero when he saves a girl from drowning in the lake. The girl, who is a princess, rewards Titicaco with three wishes. He wants:
- The best school in the world
- To get to know all children in all children villages around the world
- A bicycle
Later in the saga, Titicaco is presented to his mission in life - to save the world before the next Pachakuti in 2012. According to the Maya and Inka legends, Pachakuti is an reoccuring star alignment that affect the earth axle to flip. The effect is a global disaster of never seen proportions when a thousand volcanoes, a thousand tsunamis hits the world, the continents move and water drowns most that is land. The end and the beginning.
Titicaco brings inspiration through creativity. He shows little fear and becomes a hero at only eight years old. One favourite expression he uses is: “Only the mind sets the limits, therefore there are no limits”.
Some quotes from Titicaco: (May not be copied without authorisation)
"Only the mind sets the limit, therefore there are no limits"
"Everything mankind ever created began with a thought, what are you thinking of?"
"Thought is pure energy, everything was built from it"
"We must learn to embrace evil, it is fear of being left out that created him."
Many people have asked what the purpose of the saga is. There are so many purposes! Most important of all is to visualize Mission Titicaco and the global school called Titicaco Communicaring School. Another vital aim is give children the satisfaction of reading a great adventure story!
Some other purposes are: To give inspiration and new visions to the world. To give a new hero and role model to children, a role model they can live up to. To create material that might be included as study material at the Titicaco Communicaring School. To encourage new ideas and solutions to old problems. To give hope to those who have little. To show that all is possible and only the mind sets the limits. To show that sorrow can be turned into power and joy. To show that life is bigger and that love is the greatest. To show to the world that although we live in chaos, we are the chaos; it must be recognised that it is also possible for us to turn chaos into harmony. |
